I wonder how Loach's film will play out. Will it get some attention then be ignored or will it finally get mainstream recognition? Ken Loach had been churning out issue-films that pretty much nobody here in the U.S. has seen (I thought
Sweet Sixteen was terrific) but is almost always universally praised.
Great showing for Volver. Bodes well for Cruz and Almodovar. Same with Babel.
