Post MUNICH will win ZERO oscars
It's only fair!

While I think Munich is a great political thriller, one can't forget that this film has neither won anything so far.

I think that, unfortunately, that is the case. Its biggest chances are in editing, and MIchael Khan has won 3 Oscars already, so that could easily go to Crash...

It's a completely safe prediction, at the moment. I don't remember a movie that has only won the best Editing Oscar, and this is a weird year, but I'm not sure if it's that weird... and The Constant Gardener (or Crash, assuming I'm wrong) have better shots at other categories.. Rachel is pratically a lock for Sup. Actress, so I'll go with Gardener...

This looks like it'll be true considering that Crash will probably win Best Editing.

'Tis a shame, since it's the best of the BP nominees.

Have you even seen any of the BP nominees, outside of Crash and Munich? :D

Yeah, it's a shame. Probably the best BP nom, too.

I guess it could turn out to be this year's GONY even though it got half the amount of nods.

As GONY was Marty's passion project, this has to be the closest Spielberg has come to a movie with personal ties since Schindler's List.

They both were predicted to be huge players in the Oscar race and critical acclaim for both was underwhleming. They each got nominated for various things but walked away with little.

I think GNAGL is more of this year's GONY.

I feel like I just said this elsewhere, but here goes again.

Both GNAGL and Munich will pull GONY's, heh.

Spielberg will not walk out empty-handed, as he will win two techies for War of the Worlds.
Clooney will not go home empty handed, as he might pull off supporting actor for Syriana.

Neither will be recognized for his magnum opus this year, however, which is odd.

I do, but it's not the better film, technically.

Isn't he the guy who directed the painfully-awful-yet-emotionally-appealing-to-retarded-emo-kids-film called Donnie Darko?

Do you sit around and listen to the cover of "Mad World" and cry about Time Traveling cross dimensional bunnies?

anadroo your so transparent. I mean i bet you have a shirtless poster of him on your ceiling. Maybe you and him can have a sex scene that is similar to Munich in the KJ MPA ceremony.
