South Park: The Movie is such a better musical then Chicago.

Amen. :2thumbsup:

But then again, South Park is my favorite musical of all time. Chicago still sucked though.

1. Robin Williams and chorus, "Blame Canada" from South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut
2. Madonna, "Sooner or Later" from Dick Tracy
3. Janet Jackson, "Again" from Poetic Justice
4. A bunch of people in funny costumes, "Under The Sea" from The Little Mermaid
5. In 2000, within a performance of many movie songs - Isaac Hayes, "Theme from Shaft" - mainly because of the gyrating girls in the tower and the smoke that covered Hayes.
6. Perlman and Yo Yo Ma performing the Oscar-nominated scores in 2001.

Honorable mention: "Belleville Rendezvous" from The Triplets of Belleville

LOL thinking about the Crash "performance," I have no doubt that Debbie Allen is still ghost-choreographing behind the scenes.

The worst:
1. The interpretive dance showcasing Best Dramatic Score - oh yeah! Let's tap to Saving Private Ryan's awesome score!
2. Whitney and Mariah trying to upstage each other while performing "When You Believe" from The Prince of Egypt
3. Coco Lee and random Asian people, "A Love Before Time" from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

You know, Bjork's would've been great, but the emotional impact of the song has been tarnished by the swan.

I thought some of the worst was last year when they had random people singing songs that they didn't even make (ex. Bandares). Just awful.

Wasn't last year when Beyonce sang like all the songs including the french one?
That was weird.

Yes.

And made the song from The Polar Express an unnecessary (and mismatched) duet.
