I'm so happy Narnia got nothing. I was worried it might actually win the Oscar. It's nomination over more worthy films is a travesty in itself.

Sweet for King Kong and War of the Worlds. I don't know which I want to win more. They are both friggin' awesome. :biggrin:

Nice to see it winning best compositing, as the intersection sequence is probably the most realistic blend of visual effects into a live setting ever seen.

:sad: why is everyone againts Narnia's Visual FX's?!, i though there were great....especially the Lion :blush:

anyways WOTW will get the oscar for sure!, Kong looked very cartoony in some parts. World's was just perfect in every single way :happy:

I don't see how any rational human being could say that Narnia looked great and that Kong looked "too cartoony". If you think Kong looked too cartoony, you must at least relent that Narnia looked 5 times more cartoony.

There is no debate here.

I do hope that War of the Worlds wins effects this year, even though I think Kong is the better film by a tad.
