I second that. Please go edit it so it makes sense.

Kong got more techs than I thought.

Star Wars gets make up.

People never listen to me, ILM doesn't pull multiple nominations anymore.

There's a movie by movie breakdown at this site -

http://www.oscars.com/nominees/films.html

Their Geisha count is wrong though...

Narnia's got 4, Transamerica 2, I think that covers the multiple nominees.

I'm very happy for Munich. Of course, here's where the party ends for it, it won't win anything, but very, very happy for Munich.

Yeah, somehow they missed counting sound editing.

<shrug> sometimes a nomination is enough.

Esp when the other 4 films aren't in the same league.

There needs to be clarification in Sound Editing.

On site says Narnia (which makes more sense) one site says Geisha.

Good catch, if someone can find the official press release that should clear things up. Apparently a bunch of monkeys were hired to post the nominees on the website.

No real surprises, aside from Walk The Line being shut out of BP (something that pleases me greatly).

Interestingly, of the BP noms only two have made over $50 million, and none look likely to pass $100 million. When's the last time that happened?

Well I now have faith in Munich, it's chances arent great, but they're still there. Im so glad to see it get nominated for best picture. If anything this means it's gonna get a push at the Box Office instead of just die an awful death which is where it was headed.
