 Kansas City Film Critics Circle Awards
They chose not to announce runner-ups this year (they had them last year). How disappointing.
These guys totally shut out Brokeback too.
And Munich got it's (only) second win with the critics. Finally Munich wins big.
Best Film: MUNICH
Best Director: STEVEN SPIELBERG, "MUNICH"
Best Actor: PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN, "CAPOTE"
Best Actress: REESE WITHERSPOON, "WALK THE LINE"
Best Supporting Actor: PAUL GIAMATTI, "CINDERELLA MAN"
Best Supporting Actress: MARIA BELLO, "A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE"
Best Original Screenplay: GOOD NIGHT & GOOD LUCK
Best Adapted Screenplay: MUNICH
Best Animated Film: WALLACE & GROMIT: CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT
Best Foreign Language Film: DOWNFALL
Best Documentary: TIE: THE GRIZZLY MAN, MURDERBALL

Also, Munich.
And Paul Giamatti.
Am I the only one who's shocked by how many critics' awards Reese Witherspoon is winning? I have to say I honestly expected Felicity Huffman to win most of them, but Reese is by far the leader of the pack.
