THE STINKERS WORK-IN-PROGRESS

Since the start of the year we've been keeping track of 2005's biggest losers. Titles or names in bold are (in our estimation) the most likely finalists at this time.

I agree on alot of this except for Amityville Horror being worst remake.. No way.. The movie made a freaking killing at the box office for what little they spent on it and had damn good legs..

I find it laughable that War of the Worlds is listed as a dishonorable mention for Worst Film, and Spielberg for Worst Director.

Well, going by Speilbergian standards, War of the Worlds was pretty underwhelming in my opinion. So it's not like it DOESN'T deserve to be there...

Jimmy Fallon for Fever Pitch, wtf, I really disliked Jimmy Fallon on SNl and everything he did pre-FP, however I liked FP and I liked Jimmy Fallon in it.

Thee awards are always about listing high profile people, to truly list the worst film of a given year, well alot of themmight be obscure, sme of them foreign. Listing big names like Spielberg brings attention and press.

The Stinkers have always struck me as not people who hate bad films, but a bunch of people who just hate the medium of film. Looking at their ballot just makes me sad and angry.
