A pretty good set of top 10 and winners. My only complaint is that they listed top 10 foreign language films and couldn't find a place for Kung Fu Hustle; what's up with that?

More Downfal love! That screwed up Oscar rule prevented this movie from having any chance at the Oscars. Otherwise, I think Bruno Ganz could have been a serious contender for a nom.

Not much love for Walk the Line, it seems.

This is by far the best list I have seen thus far for one of these things. I love these people, where have they been my whole life?

When I read that list, I was totally thinking about you.

This is a very colorful, refreshing set of winners. I love to see variety.

All this love for 2046 makes me want to rent it. In time, I suppose.

Glad to see 2046 getting so much love. That one seemed to be really under the radar. It's a shame, too, because it's a fantastic film.

It's under the radar because it came out two years ago. I owned the DVD (through legal purchase, by the way) before it was even released in theatres here. Incredibly botched release. Honestly, that's least impressive to me as well, since I didn't think it was all that exceptional. No one part (acting, cinematgraphy, score, etc) was poor, they just didn't come together. Wong Kar Wai just had nothing to "say" in that film, imo.

Nice to see Tropical Malady up there at #4 for imports as well. Too unfortunate that Holy Girl didn't make the import top ten though. Cache and Downfall are expected. I still say had France submitted Cache this year, we'd have our winner right there for the Oscar.
