Roeper's predictions (except for Best Picture and maybe S. Actress) are the most moronic things I have ever seen.

Are you sure it wasn't "Who Should Win" rather than "Who Will Win"?

It is "who should win," actually. Their 'If We Picked The Winners' show is on this weekend.

Yes, it's their picks for who should win, not predictions.

No offense to Don Cheadle who did a great job in a good movie, but picking cheadle over Foxx, DiCaprio, and Eastwood has got to be one of the most idiotic thing I ahve ever heard this Oscar season.
Tsk tsk Mr. Ebert, you too Mr. Roeper.

Ebert and Roeper just did their Oscar picks for 5 categories. No idea why they didn't do Best Director.

Best Actor
Ebert - Don Cheadle
Roeper - Don Cheadle

Best Actress
Ebert - Hilary Swank
Roeper - Kate Winslet

Best Supporting Actor
Ebert - Morgan Freeman
Roeper - Alan Alda

Best Supporting Actress
Ebert - Virginia Madsen
Roeper - Virginia Madsen

Best Picture
Ebert - Million Dollar Baby
Roeper - The Aviator

Ironically enough, Roger Ebert was on Howard Stern's Radio Show the other morning and they were discussing the Oscar picks, and he said for BEST DIRECTOR, he would have to side with Martin Scorcese for the simple fact that he's long overdue for an Oscar and this may be his last chance at it.. He said that while he praised the hell out of MDB, he said it could really go either way this year, but I do remember him saying that Foxx would probably win BEST ACTOR even though he wanted Cheadle to win..
