What makes you think I wasn't joking?

I guess I never considered that it would get one in the first place. Screenplay and Matt Dillon have been what I've been looking for it to get more than anything.

John Jacobsen and Katie Miller were driving down the highway. John was driving Katie home because Katie is his girlfriend, but not after tonight....
Katie: Woah John you are driving really fast! John: C'mon Katie I thought you liked fast guys, haha. Katie: Hehehe. No seriously John please slow down. John: Ok, I will. *John speeds up* Katie: Oh my god, I told you to slow down John! John: I'm sorry Katie, I don't really care right now. *Katie smells John's breath* Katie: Wait a second! Are you drunk John? John: Yes. So what? Katie: So that's what that bottle you were drinking at the theater was! John: That's right, I was drinking a beer. *John starts moving the car from one lane to another. Katie puts on her seat belt* Katie: Oh my god you're so drunk, pull over! John: No, you need to stop talking now because you're being annoying. Katie: Please John, I love you, I don't want to die. John: You don't love me Katie. Katie: Yes I do! John: No you don't. You said that Heath Ledger looked hot in that movie. You've really been trying to hook up with him. Katie: I am sorry John, I was only saying that to make you jealous so you'd kiss me, I love you. John: Then why did you say you thought he looked hot without his short? Katie: I don't know, I was not thinking straight, just stop being an asshole! John: Fine, I will stop... *John pauses, then says* John: But Katie. I love you too. *All of a sudden there car smashes into the side of the road and gets into a car wreck. Katie wakes up and turns to John* Katie: John? John, are you ok? John: No Katie, I'm dying. Katie: Oh my god, no John, why did you have to drive drunk? John: I was lying to you Katie. The breaks stopped working, so the car could only stay the same speed or go faster. Katie: I do not understand John, what are you saying? John: I was trying to get you to put on your seat belt. If I had told you to might have figured out why I was asking. Katie: But why didn't you put on yours? John: My seat belt was broken. But Katie... I still love you. *John dies* Katie: No John! No! I love you too! You can't die! Nooooo! *Katie screams into the air* One month later... Katie: It was only then I realized, that he was acting drunk... for me.
Ahahaahahahhahha

Oh and I don't see why people get mad at andaroo for making this thread. I loved Crash and none of his threads will convince me otherwise, so I don't care how much he bashes them.

I'm not mad. If he would never have gotten mad at me in the past for bashing LOTR (and MikeQ., too), I wouldn't have cared. I still don't care, I just thought I'd mention it since I've been criticized and BKB gets raked over the coals for doing the same with LOTR. Now I won't feel so bad about torturing Peter Jackson fans about King Kong!

Mav, this thread is not even really serious. I mean he does hate it seriously, but it is not a serious anti-Crash campaign or something.
Also, he does not follow Crash-fans and clashes with them every single time they bring up the movie unlike with you and ROTK in its year.

BKB is never serious, he just likes to bash. Same difference, and if they are going to jump on the soapbox about him doing that, how can anybody take them seriously when they aren't above it?
I haven't bashed Kong. I just thought it was ridiculous to think that awards were going to get thrown at it. Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, etc... I wouldn't feel bad about bashing it just for the hell of it now so I could watch people get upset at my button pushing kills since it's been shown to be embraced. That doesn't mean I'd mean it on a personal level, it would just all be in fun!

I wouldn't mind a director nom.
I fear the screenplay nom.
It will lose to Good Night and Good Luck though, I think that's where they will choose to award THE CLOONEY.

My hatred for this film is so potent that it's almost tangible.
I didn;t think it possible for nayone to hate this movie the way I do.
I see the fact that is getting any awards as an affront to my very existence.

Crash is the best drama of the year! Those who do not accept it as such have more to worry about than viruses.

To early to tell, we are not sure of the gestion period, but it does not look promising.

Sandra Bullock falling off the stairs near the end of the movie so she'll realize the niceness of her Latina maid? How convenient! My God I hope Ludacris mug her.
Good enough?
