I so called it. I was like to my brother "I think the announcer is Ellen K"

Of course, us two (maybe Rod?) are the only ones who know who she is probably, lol

What's the last film that won GG BP/BD, PGA, DGA, SAG, WGA, and BAFTA BP/BD?

Now I'm seriously thinking a sweep of 9 Oscars is possible. Definitely at least 6.

Superman Returns is wonderful. Maybe the best superhero movie ever... Bryan Singer is one of my favorite directors. I'm still hoping he gets to do a direct sequel with Routh, Spacey, etc.

For a film predicated on the idea that love conquers all, the characters of Jamal and Latika have zero chemistry in the film. Arghhhhh. Guess it doesn't matter when it comes to awards.

I loved them together.

I purchased the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack off iTunes recently and I loooooove "Latika's Theme" (the humming that's playing over their final kiss).

I believe so. I haven't listened to it for years either... especially in the mornings but I'm pretty sure she's still on.

That's funny. That little tidbit of information managed to achieve what yoshue and his cronies have been unable to do all night.

I still remember attempting to go see Superman Returns at the Uptown theater here in DC on opening day (AKA the one-screen movie house with a balcony and 1000 seats) and the movie LITERALLY MELTING.

Legit. The print melted or something and they had to make us leave. It was on the news! So funny.

LOL! Sorry. I am just a hopeless lover of Superman Returns. ;) :wub2: I saw an early screening of it and wrote this orgasmic, wordy, run-on-heavy review, which can still proudly be found on the first page of the film's Everyone's a Critic thread.
