Bening...one of the night's most predictable wins.
Jolie looks gorgeous...again. And I'm kinda getting used to Stone as a blonde.

Hadn't seen Al Pacino to be on stage giving acceptance speech in quite a while.

Re: Golden Globes Live Ceremony Thread
I remember a time people debated who was the better working actor, Pacino or Deniro, but right now its not even a question, Pacino still takes on challenging roles while its so sad how far Deniro has fallen. Atleast he was good in conviction.

Sorkin
Second win for The Social Network.
At least three wins guaranteed then.

Linney...that was kinda surprising.
Also, Denmark's best Foreign win was surprising. The last of the five I expected to win. Too bad for The Concert.

I don't get that Burlesque and The Tourist were nominated over Easy A for Best Picture (Comedy/Musical).

Melissa Leo is now pulling ahead in the lone undeciding acting race.

Re: Golden Globes Live Ceremony Thread
Second win for The Fighter.
After this and BFCA, the race is really open for Best Supporting Actress as I still feel support for Steinfield (who has not even been nominated here)...but Leo is definitely picking up. Splitting votes with Adams might be an issue, though (think Almost Famous).

During that De Niro presentation...they showed like one second of Heat and nothing of Meet the Parents/Fockers. But Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Weird.

Re: Golden Globes Live Ceremony Thread
The Giamatti win is cool, I s'pose. Such a crazy, loose race.
Maybe it'll help Barney's Version at the box office a bit. I've heard Rosamund Pike is amazing in the film.
