Best Foreign Language Film – “A Prophet”
Best Documentary – “Exit Through the Gift Shop”
Best Animated Feature – “Toy Story 3″
Best Cinematography – Wally Pfister for “Inception”
Best Original Score – Clint Mansell for “Black Swan”
Most Promising Performer – Jennifer Lawrence in “Winter’s Bone”
Most Promising Filmmaker – Derek Cianfrance for “Blue Valentine”

Added Florida Film Critics Circle, St. Louis Film Critics Association, Chicago Film Critics Association.

The Social Network for Picture, Fincher for Directing, Firth for Lead, Portman for Lead, Bale for Supporting, Sorkin for Adapted won all three of those.

Nolan for Original and Leo for Supporting picked two from these three.

Not a very diverse bunch were these critics.

Inception is #1 for Best Original Screenplay wins now.

Leo pulls ahead for Best Sup. Actress.

The first win was actually not a big win. None of its main competitors were eligible considering they're not a British movie.

TSN does not even count at this point!

Inception gets another Screenplay and Director win from Kansas City.

Steinfeld, Bale, Firth and Portman got two more wins each. The Social Network won two more BP awards as well.

The bet quota on Sorkin will probably be like 1.01, LOL.

Hmm, even that seems too high because I'd really bet all money I own on him.

Either that or they won't even offer to pick him.

On $100 that would mean you earn $1. If I bet all my savings on that I'd have like $10 profit

Updated with Central Ohio. Not much change. Inception became only the third film to win two prizes for BP. Franco jumped over Eisenberg in the male lead and Steinfeld started to make a small lead on others in female supporting.

Hmm, I just discovered the bet quota on The Social Network for BP is around 1.7 right now.


Sounds like the right time to make a bet.

Awesome. They don't allow betting on Oscar's here until the last week or so. And even then not every betting office has Oscars in their bet offers.

Well, I was talking online betting.

I never did any online betting. Though with that quota I'm getting tempted. What's the site? First I need to see if it will work for me. Being where I am can sometimes be very sucky for some online transactions.

Sorkin is the first one to break the 30 mark. He'd probably have 31 wins, but Iowa doesn't have Best Screenplay category at all.
