Re: Who's waking up early for the announcements? (2009)
Because it's the first time I will ever watch them live, and I don't live in the US (NY is in the same timezone as my city) so I'm not familiar with the timezones. You don't have to be a whore and give me the wrong one.
Thank you Libs.

Re: Who's waking up early for the announcements? (2009)
How long do the noms take to announce again?
What a shitty time that is for me. I'll easily be up (noms announced 8:38am my time), but I'll be in a transition from apartment to school. I have class at 9:30am, so I'll be heading out the door at around 8:40am (right when then the bloody noms start being announced!) to catch the bus to get to class on time. Geeze.
I think I'll have to get up extra early, catch a bus shortly after 8am, and stake myself out at school with my laptop before the noms even start announcing. Then I can watch them there and enjoy them without having to rush out the door afterwards.
Woohoo for nerdiness.
Peace, Mike

This person has some recent nomination ceremonies. Too bad 70th is missing (Titanic year). http://www.youtube.com/user/regimarcelom

They misspelled the Coen name in '96! I do love watching these though, through some weird nostalgia. :ohthememories:

By the way, I heard a rumor the nominations ARE NOT being streamed live on oscar.com
Is there somewhere else they definitely are?

Is there somewhere else they definitely are? How about the actual AMPAS site? oscar.org?
