Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (TWO DAYS LEFT)
I see a lot of people picking IOUSA for Best Doc.
It's not nearly as good as other docs in competition this year. Food for thought.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (DEADLINE IN SIX HOURS)
You have 6 hours left to send your predictions before the deadline arrives. Also, if you have already sent your predictions and do make a change, please PM me that change, as it's easier to recognize those that way rather then going over each ballot. Thank you. It may take a while tomorrow for me to post the results, as I have an appointment with the dentist an hour after the nominations are announced, and I don't know how long that appointment will take. After I return home I will post them asap, so please be patient. If you are not going to change your predictions anymore, please tell me so that I can already print your ballot.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (DEADLINE IN SIX HOURS)
Jon, I'm not sure, but I think the new rules don't allow more than one Song nominee per film (might have been two, though). I know they changed it after Enchanted's triple nom.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (LESS THAN ONE HOUR LEFT)
Just 45 minutes left. Over 15 participants so far. And to think last year only 4 people submitted ballots.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (DEADLINE CLOSED)
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28790972/?GT1=43001The Nominations are out and TDK gets snubbed for both BEST PICTURE and BEST DIRECTOR which has to be quite the blow to the fans.. At least Ledger will more than likely win BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR though which is highly deserving..

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
At the end 22 people did participate, which is a nice increase considering last year only 4 people did play. Thanks to anyone that participated.
97 was the number of different nominations at the end.
However, due to ties, there are only 15 places.
Here we go:

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
15th place: It's the first tie. And it's between the two London guys, munky and loyal, both got 61 picks of 97 right, with both getting 100% on the FX category.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
14th place: Webslinger, who could have scored much higher but didn't submit picks for the documentary and the foreign category.
He got 100% on FX and Adapted Screenplay.
62 of 97.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
12th place: Another tie. And it's between Jmovies and Outatime. They scored 67 right, getting 100% on FX.
11th place: Jon, you also got 67 right, but you got two categories 100% right, so you place higher than the other two contestants. As with almost anyone else, you got FX all right, but you also were the only one to get the song category right, with the 2 Slumdog nominations there. Congrats!

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
And we enter the top 10.
10th place: And it's another tie, but this time a triple one. Libs, Lecter and Madgez all scored 68 points and as usual, all got FX right.
9th place: As in the previous post, this player also got the same points as the three contestants above (68), but places higher because he got 3 categories completely right. Those were Adapted Screenplay, Animated Feature and Editing. Congrats xiayun!
