We've already passed the threshold with the Harry Potter kids.

They will be able to play their roles up until film 7.

Nobody cares that Lindsay Lohan is 19 or so and plays a 16 year old, and nobody will care if a 16 year old Daniel Radcliff will play a 15 year old Harry Potter.
