Re: Building A Consensus: T-6 Days (Best Editing/Cinematography)
I can't believe how low Atonement is ranking in Editing. I think that was one of the absolute stand-outs in the film (well, when I say film, I mean the first 1/3 ) I'll have mine in late tonight.

Re: Building A Consensus: T-6 Days (Best Editing/Cinematography)
Best Film Editing
The Bourne Ultimatum The Diving Bell and the Butterfly Michael Clayton No Country for Old Men There Will Be Blood
[this is a really tough category. I'm leaving out Into the Wild and Atonement. I'm so sure Atonement is going to get in over the likes of Michael Clayton just like the Best Picture race but I'm having a hard time reading past the facts and what's already written on the wall]
Cinematography
Atonement The Diving Bell and the Butterfly Into the Wild No Country for Old Men There Will Be Blood
[hmm. pretty tough to leave out Assassination of Jesse James but the same guy's already getting nominated for No Country. I know I'm wrong but I know if I put Jesse James down I'm going to be wrong too, so might as well go with the film I liked (or in this case, saw)]

*hoping for Sydow shocker and PSH snub* The only "shocker" I would not enjoy is Julia Roberts being included in Supporting Actress. I'm fine with Leslie Mann though, heh.

I think Paul Dano is not completely out either, especially not with the growing love for TWBB.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of Keener or Ronan missed though, depending on which film get's in for BP. I only don't know what would replace them, Knightley and Carter seem to be in lead so they're not as viable. Maybe Julia.

Re: Building A Consensus: T-5 Days (Supporting Actor/Actress)
If Julia gets nominated, I will seriously find her car on all of the handicapped parking spaces that she usually hijacks, and shove a skillet in her mouth.
