I say No Country, Juno, and Marion Cotillard for the biggies. Agree with everyone else on... everything else.

I don't know. I'm still thinking Atonement will take at least Picture+Score (wishful thinking perhaps). And I'm still expecting a huge upset in comedy. Like Gosling/Adams/both winning. And why do I keep forgetting that Depp lost the Globe for Pirates?

Unfortunately I won't be able to stay much longer here.

I mean, how can this NOT win?

It may be well acted and directed and all but it's the drama equivalent of a Michael Moore film in terms of bias. Oil bad! Capitalism bad! Religion bad! America fucked!

On the other hand, without it we wouldn't have this:

So that's one thing in its favor.

I really hope Atonement wins BP. I know that it doesn't mean it will grab an oscar nod, but it really deserves some major awards.

I'm at work now, so I can't really chat or watch the live streaming, so if someone wouldn't mind periodically updating the winners here, that'd be much appreciated.

Oh, how I love Amy Adams. She's so real - beyond "Hollywood" real. She's so awesome.

Peace,
Mike

If those are true, the winners would be utterly bizarre and surprising.

Yay for at least one of them though :)

Spoiler: show
Bee Movie over Simpsons and Ratatouille?

John Travolta wins a Golden Globe?

Nahhhhh. If they are true, the HFPA is fucking stupid.

Unless...this is somehow a statement against the strike? Haha.
