Can you please watch all of these movies before you bash them? I do it once in awhile (Jack Reacher for example) but you do it all the time and it's fucking annoying. K THANX BI

 Re: Best Picture 2012
He just posted a picture from CollegeHumor. I love Zero Dark Thirty. I consider it the tenth best film of the decade so far. Oh, no!

The question then is, are you a superhero or a supervillain?

 Re: Best Picture 2012
All I hear about is Silver Linings Playbook. It is definitely starting to becoming the favorite to win among audiences anyway.

 Re: Best Picture 2012
My parents want Lincoln to win.
If Silver Linings PLaybook does indeed become the winner, few will question the reign of the Weinstein overlords.

 Re: Best Picture 2012
If SLP were to win the big prize, that'd be three Best Picture wins in a row for Harvey. Mind boggling.
I think Lincoln is still the favorite although I agree it's been losing a bit of awards steam recently.

 Re: Best Picture 2012
It is not Silver Linings that is currently building buzz, though, it is Argo.
Let's not forget how phenomanel Argo's success is at the box-office, legs-wise.

 Re: Best Picture 2012
Lincoln seems to be losing steam to Argo. Not that Argo isn't worthy...
One of the embarrassments for the academy is how many times Spielberg films haven't won.

She was amazed that neither Jaws nor E.T. won Best Picture. Another one of my friends ranted a few weeks ago about how ridiculous she thought it was that the biopic Lincoln was going to win Best Picture, while Raiders of the Lost Ark, the genre film, didn't.

Looks like Argo will win. The Beard will win BD though.

It is actually the first time in a while that the BP frontrunner is also my favorite nominee.

 Re: Best Picture 2012
Argo is unfairly maligned. It would be one of the more deserving Best Pic winners from the last decade. That said its my second favourite of this year's line-up behind ZD30, but that film has no chance.

 Re: Best Picture 2012
I have no problem with Argo winning BP, its a good film and is better than more than half the BP winners of the past decade.

 Re: Best Picture 2012
Where Argo, if it wins tonight, will fall among the last ten best pictures, in my opinion:
1. No Country for Old Men 2. The Departed 3. The Hurt Locker 4. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 5. Slumdog Millionaire 6. The Artist 7. Argo 8. The King's Speech 9. Crash 10. Million Dollar Baby
