Big Hero 6 is still acclaimed by critics and a huge financial hit.

If Neil had some decent comedy writers this would've been an A-worthy performance.

Instead I'd say he's been just good so far, which is at least an improvement over last year. Then again, a pile of shit hosting would've been better than last year.

My opinion is that How to Train Your Dragon 2 has better individual moments, but Big Hero 6 is overall the more entertaining film. Hopefully they can be the new PIXAR.

So it's an "American Crime" to fire a gun at a shooting range?

I greatly enjoyed the opening number. I thought the song was pretty good and very funny. No Let it Go obviously. But loved the Into the Woods incorporation.

The host needs some more audience interaction. The bit with the fillers was nice. The Brit speak thing didn't work for me.

I rather miss the oft criticized dance numbers and randomly splashy montages of past Oscar ceremonies.

There's no way GBH wasn't winning for production design.

I don't think you could say it on TV, but he should've said "Shat in a hat".

Birdman's on the board! Thought GBH would take it.

The opening number was aces. Everything else from NPH has been awful. He says a joke and stands there like Krusty waiting for laughs that aren't coming. That whole "locked predictions briefcase" bit might be one of the worst Oscar bits ever. What's funny about it?

Even the Birdman bit was just an excuse to stand there in his underwear.

The opening was really well done but NPH has not been given anything else good since then.

Poor DW, they can't win even without Pixar, disney has monopolized the animation industry again, though I can't deny, BH6 is, off course, the best animated film of 2014

They need to bring the applause back. This is boring without it.

Not a fan of the use of drawings during the in-memory segment.

For a brief second I thought Mike Nichols was going to come out from behind the screen.

Yeah, it wasn't great. Robin Williams looked like Harrison Ford.

Would have been great if they had continued SNL's bit last week and included Jon Lovitz.
