I don't see Annette Bening winning! I just...don't. It's such a small film, to begin with!
Is she lost it would make the race a lot more exciting, too, since many consider her to be the frontrunner.

Best Movie - Drama -- The Aviator (no contest)
Best Actor - Movie (Drama) -- Johnny Depp, Finding Neverland (This is the Globes. It's either Johnny or Leo here, in my opinion.)
Best Actress - Movie (Drama) -- Hilary Swank, Million Dollar Baby
Best Movie (Musical or Comedy) -- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (this is more of a risky prediction. I'm more convinced Sideways will win, but I'm going to stick with Eternal Sunshine, the film I originally thought has an edge at the Globes, specifically. I'll either be the only one wrong in this category or the only one right (since everyone else chose Sideways).
Best Actor - Movie (Musical or Comedy) -- Jamie Foxx, Ray
Best Actress - Movie (Musical or Comedy) -- Kate Winslet, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Best Supporting Actor - Movie -- Morgan Freeman, Million Dollar Baby
Best Supporting Actress - Movie -- Cate Blanchett, The Aviator
Best Foreign Language Film -- House Of Flying Daggers - China
Best Director -- Martin Scorsese, The Aviator
Screenplay - Movie -- Charlie Kaufman, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Original Score - Movie -- Howard Shore, The Aviator
Original Song - Movie -- Learn To Be Lonely, The Phantom Of The Opera (Phantom of the Opera will get something, and it'll be this, in my opinion).
PEACE, Mike

@Best Actor: I think it's more likely that Johnny and Leo will cancel each other out making someone else the winner. IT's pretty much a 5-way race though, with Liam probably being the weakest link.

I'd say Bardem considering that the movie doesn't seem to go over well with audiences...

Considering the track record of GG, I'd say he has pretty much no chance. I give Cheadle the edge because I think that Depp and DiCaprio will cancel each other out.

Okay, I guess Neeson will win then.
In fact, I think that barely anyone will be voting Bardem.

Yeah, I'm really going to feel stupid when/if The Aviator wins.
Am I really the only one who thinks it won't?

Ah, I remember the Oscars Thread. I was a newbie then (read: avid spammer).
Good thread, though the show was painfully predictable.

Hmmm...The Aviator/Finding Neverland seem more like Golden Globe-like films. Million Dollar Baby=Oscar (I know, they choose the same fiulm almost every year, but  )
I have a feelingabout Million Dollar Baby, but I don't know if it'll overcome The Aviator.
Yay. 5 hours for me!!

I'd love to see Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio win.
WHat a duo, eh?

Hahaha.
That didn't even ocurr to me until now.
That you mentioned it
Kate was more dserving of the Oscar than Helen in '98. If she doesn't win the Oscar this year, though, which she probably won't, and is she were also nominated for Neverland and Sunshine, that would put her like,on Julianne Moore territory. But better *ducks from Moore fans*

Come on, Julianne's work in Boogie Nights is easily one of the top 5 female performaces in the last 30 years.
