Of course.
And while you are at it, vote for the movie you want to be picked in the poll.

Still kind of an unchallenging bunch if you ask me.
I wish that we got to choose from your original submissions anyway, I hope the whole process gets re-reviewed for next time. Anyway, Lecter disagreed with me on page 1.

For example, I think movies like the Godfather or even the Pianist, etc., even though seen, would lead to better discussion.
Yes, these movies are unseen but if there isn't much to discuss then ..........................
Remember we have never discussed any of these Best Picture movies so it all be fresh no matter what movie was picked.

But at least for DL, we can discuss who has the better breasts > Michelle Pfeiffer or Uma Thurman
and it co-stars Matrix man, KR.

"Best Picture" and "challenging film" are hardly synonymous.

I chose Hannah and Her Sisters. I've seen Bugsy, Dangerous Liaisons, and Prizzi's Honor. I've been meaning to check out HAHS but I've never gotten around to it. Whichever one is chosen, though, I'll try to watch it to refresh my memory on it.

I would have voted for Hannah, hell I nominated it, but it quickly became obvious that it couldn't win!

Well, as of now three of the votes are discounted because the voters didn't join the club (yet): ChipMunky's for Bugsy, laneyboy's for Prizzi's Honor and Lucky's for Dangerous Liaisons.

Well, I suppose, unless we get new members before Monday, the decision has been made in a tight race and the winner is Dangerous Liaisons.

The poll will run for some more hours, but looks like Dangerous Liaisons is the film that was picked. Once the poll is closed, I'll make a separate thread for the pick.

Great, baumer!
All you need to do over the nest two weeks is to rent Dangerous Liaisons (the one with Malkovich and Close), our first club pick, watch it and discuss it with us in the seperate thread that I am going to create now
