I really like the best picure nominations. Im pretty shocked Sin City made it on.

Common, Kong vs The Planes? Kong vs T-Rexes was MUCH better.

Maybe the first time my top film of the year would match MTV's.

And maybe the last.

These "awards" are always good for a laugh. Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton & Rob Schneider are all nominated, heck it might as well be the Razzies.

And am I the only person who wasn't that crazy about The 40 Year Old Virgin or Wedding Crashers? I mean Virgin was ok (and I looooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaathed Wedding Crashers) but it's nowhere close to being a favorite movie of '05 for me.

MTV is usually not the type of network to give nominations to huge movies that strike it big at the academy awards. they may award some of the actors/actresses from those films, but they usually leave the picture to blockbusters. and really i wouldn't blame them for not nominating Crash. that film was good, but it wasn't that good

I actually had BBM had half a chance at getting a BP nod but oh well, we'll never know ;)

The Best Pic line up is actually quite respectable for mtv standards and all but I dunno, the rest is pretty much a waste.

Everyone seems to think the BBM kiss is going to win ;)

I'm so blind. I actually only just noticed that the BBM performance nom in for Jake Gyllenhaal and not Heath Ledger!

And ya... I'm also pretty damn sure the boys will win the kiss. I think that would actually be really cool.

BB has a really good shot at winning, if RotS was nominated it would've been a different story, but seeing as though it's the only real big fanboy movie I think fans will vote in droves for it. It's either gonna be BB or Wedding Crashers. Crashers & 40 might split votes which will be advantage BB, if BB wins i'll enjoy these awards much more then the Oscars

MTV awards are probably fixed anyways.
