this info would be greatly appreciated.

Usually supporting is the first two. If Murphy wins, we will know that LMS is out. If Arkin wins, it's LMS vs Departed. If Departed wins editing, it will win BP as well. Oh and BP will be the last award. :) I'm still hoping that Letters may upset, I know that's almost impossible, but still.

Um, I highly doubt they publish that kind of stuff or tell anybody. And I'm sure every year they do mix it up a bit.

But like Alfred mentioned earlier, the supporting acting categories usually are first and the last 2 awards are always Director and Picture, respecively (I think). And before those 2 are usually Best Actor/Actress.

That link with those spoilers is sweet. I love it.

I think the Oscars are going to be big this year (in terms of ratings, better than the recent declines). There's been major propping on both Oprah (who has a couple Oscar shows now and will also have a third After Oscar show), and Ellen DeGeneres who has an Oscar themed "practise" show today, heh. Just feels pretty pumped this year, and with The Departed and Little Miss Sunshine in the mix (something for males and females), I think people will be tuning in.

[spoil]*SPOILERS*

If the awards indeed are changed around this year, and the supporting acting categories are near the end as opposed to at the beginning like tradition, then it will be even harder to pinpoint the Best Picture winner earlier on. For me at least, I think Alan Arkin has to win Supporting Actor in order for Little Miss Sunshine to win Best Picture. I was going to find that out at the beginning of the show, but no longer.

That line-up for presenters for Best Director is SWEET. A gimmick as said, but still SWEET.[/spoil]

Peace,
Mike.
