Even I wasn't expecting a Babel appearence...

I thought Bobby would show up somehow, eheh. I've just seen it, and just like Crash, I kinda liked it, even with the lack of subtlety. And since it won't be nominated for BP (it's dead...right?), I don't have to worry so much about it. But yeah, it's like a guilty pleasure or something like that. I may have a crush for ensemble pieces, now that I think about it...

Wow, Little Miss Sunshine even got in here, while no The Departed.

Very glad to see The Queen and Curse of the Golden Flower.

I don't understand what on earth LMS got in for, heh... Paegaent costume like Christian said. I think they wanted to nominate it in every category they possibly could.

Departed is still showing to not as inhumanly strong as it could be, it's no lock for BP.

Winners:

EXCELLENCE IN CONTEMPORARY FILM
The Queen – Consolata Boyle

EXCELLENCE IN PERIOD FILM
Curse of the Golden Flower – Chung Man Yee

EXCELLENCE IN FANTASY FILM
Pan's Labyrinth – Lala Huete

Happy for all three again, especially COTGF beating Dreamgirls and Marie Antoinette. Costume Design is still anybody's race.
