Post KJ Launches: 2006 Award Season Section.
http://www.worldofkj.com/awards/

Please bear with us. We'll be adding a lot more over a period of time and replacing some of the pictures and layouts (makeshift images).

The following are now available on the award site:

awards news curtesy Oscarwatch
Update schedule of oscar section
Award Calendar
The Contenders is now only exclusively available over the main site with new sorting abilities to identify trends.

Oscar section has 1 of 3 modules now operational:
RT Charts for best picture, actor, actress, supporting actor and supporting actress. Once again, analyse historical trends in voting.

Keep a look out for:
Better pictures : )
FYC Section
Adapted screenplay and original screenplay charts
Oscar History Section
Oscar Predictions

over the next week.

Enjoy. All feedback is appreciated. Just don't ask me to change the charts in any way hehehehee.

The first logo reminded me of the Matrix for some reason (use of black and green I guess).

You even managed to include my beloved BAFTA (tear drop).

haha...The Matrix was what I always thought of when I saw that.

It wouldn't have been right not to include BAFTA in the with the rest. We do have our overseas friends to consider. Independant Spirit didn't get the love, but that's symbolic.

I actually enjoy the ISA award show moreso than the awards themselves.

I think their problem is that the ceremony/event struggles for it's own respect and identity because it's almost like an afterthought due to being tacked on at the end. Everybody is focused on the Oscars, so there is a lot of apathy for the ISA. If they would move that up and put some space between it and the Oscars, I think they'd be able to draw more interest.

What I like about the televised ceremony is that it's very home spun and kinda out of control. It certainly doesn't help that it's the day before the Oscars.

I udated the predictions a bit. Tweaked a few things. Additions and subtractions. Apocalypto is looking better and better and I got a chance to use Mel's mugshot so I took it.
