Saw it last night.

Regarding Keener:

I agree with dolce and Alex in that she's quite good; she's incredibly restrained, and it really caters to the still tone of the film - and yes, contrasts with Capote himself. And I listened to a review after watching the film where the guys made a good point that Keener is usually very brassy in her roles, and this was a good change of pace. Maybe that had something to do with people liking her.

(And I do think the film itself is fantastic.)

You know, I found it quite amusing that Keener's supporting actress clip on Oscar night was almost entirely made up of conversation between Truman and the train porter :lol: . She only squeeked one line in there, in HER OWN BLOODY CLIP. That proved my point and did all the talking for me. She meant nothing to that movie.
