Crash winning?
The result would not be excitement, but a somewhat similar emotion called blinding rage with an assist from searing chest pain.

The only major awards I expect Crash to win going forward is SAG Ensemble.
It is (IMO) a toss up between Crash and Good Night for Original Screenplay.

I would prefer Crash, but it can be Walkt the Line or Good Night, and Good Luck. Anything but Brokeback, just to create some doubts. I am not against BBM winning, I'd just like the Oscars to have a bit of mystery. Last year, it was never over until the envelope was opened, and that makes it so much more fun. Crash just seems like the most likely to be able to stand up and fight BBM.

The Oscar show itself was boring (i.e. no HUGE surprises).
