I guess early 1990's is now considered period.
Too bad, no Pride and Prejudice.

I forgot about Pride & Prejudice!
Before, I was amused by Rent's nomination. Now I'm just kind of mad.
Come on, Costume Guild! You do this for a living! What the fuck?

They separated out Period and Fantasy this year. Before they were always combined.
No Pride & Prejudice, Mrs. Henderson Presents, and Cinderella Man.
Capote is still going strong. Didn't expect it to be here.

King Kong doesn't seem to be getting much support from the guilds at all.

Isn't Munich a period film? Walk the Line appears to be getting plenty of support from various factions.

Capote continues to dominate. It did perfectly resemble the time period, but it's still rather surprising it's doing so well in the tech categories too (something I did mention as a possibility, which people laughed off rather quickly .)
