Del Toro is the 6th spot.

He has a chance but there is a lot of people who can possibly sneak in

Maggie Gylennhaal got nominated at Globes and maybe they would like nominating a female former actress director.

McKay got nominated for Vice

Maybe they could do something off the board nominate the Drive My Car guy or CODA director who is also female. The deaf theme did well with Shape of Water.

Don't really like King Richard getting a Director nom but I guess he's still in it as well
