 Re: PGA Awards nominations
No Inside Llewyn Davis. Also, on an interesting note, nothing for Harvey Weinstein's slate. No August: Osage County. No The Butler. No Philomena. Saving Mr. Banks needs to show itself out of any race other than Best Actress stat.

 Re: PGA Awards nominations
The biggest winner is Dallas Buyers Club. Between three SAG noms, including Ensemble and a PGA nom, this is looking very likely to score a BP nod now.
Fruitvale Station is probably dead now and Inside Llewyn Davis received a major blow, though it can still recover. I am most surprised at The Butler missing. Even the PGA left it out - should be the final nail in its coffin.

 Re: PGA Awards nominations
As Dallas Buyers Club gathers momentum, I also wonder more and more if Jennifer Garner might score a surprise nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Scott Feinberg has been predicting her for a while, and he was the only person to call Jacki Weaver's nomination last year. I guess it's not impossible?

 Re: PGA Awards nominations
Dallas Buyers Club is definitely inching closer to a Best Pic nom. I'm thinking Inside Llewyn Davis might go the way of A Serious Man and end up with a nomination for Picture despite a lack of guild love. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't show up either. I do find it somewhat shocking that Harvey wasn't able to get at least one of his contenders here. He seems to be doing something wrong this year. Also, the appearance of Blue Jasmine is very unexpected, and I'm wondering whether it could show up in the Oscar lineup.

I think that's gonna be pretty much the BP lineup. Dunno if Her will get in but I hope it does!

 Re: PGA Awards nominations
Her is very much safe IMO. And I agree this could very well be the BP lineup.

I still don't see Saving Mr. Banks making the BP lineup and Inside Llewyn Davis missing it.

 Re: PGA Awards nominations
No one has mentioned this, but aren't their noms for Best Documentary very surprising?
A Place at the Table Far Out Isn't Far Enough: The Tomi Ungerer Story Life According to Sam We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks Which Way is the Front Line from Here? The Life and Time of Tim Hetherington
No 20 Feet from Stardom. No Stories We Tell. No The Act of Killing. No Blackfish.

Is the Wind Rises ineligible from this award?

 Re: PGA Awards nominations
No, it is eligible for awards this year. There was a qualifying run (of a subtitled version) in NYC and Los Angeles.

 Re: PGA Awards nominations
Gravity and 12 Years a Slave tied for the win. TIED! This season is such a freaking mess. lol. Gravity might all of a sudden become the serious Best Picture threat if it snatches DGA too. I think it's actually a 3-way race this year, which is pretty exciting.

anyways, this is cray. Gravity didn't get a single writing nod, which would make it the first BP winner without a writing nod since...I don't know. Someone look it up for me. Titanic.
