Re: Predict the Golden Globe Winners!
I think The King's Speech will win big tonight: Picture, Actor, Screenplay, and Score, and then with its momentum at the box office, we'll start to hear it's two-film race again since the media doesn't want the race to be too boring from this early on.

Re: Predict the Golden Globe Winners!
The Globes are insane so anything could happen, but it'd be a HUGE shock if The King's Speech wins Screenplay.
Picture and Actor, yes. Score...maybe, but unlike the Pscars Desplat has won a Globe before. Zimmer has lost all of his recent six nominations at the Globes, so it might be his time again.
Screenplay...that'd really stun me.
It's interesting how The Social Network is such a huge huge frontrunner at the moment, having sweeped until now...and yet it'd actually surprise many people (including myself) if it won the Globe for Best Picture.

Re: Predict the Golden Globe Winners!
I don't think it would be a surprise if it won. I'm predicting KING'S SPEECH but it could easily go either way so it wouldn't be a shock if THE SOCIAL NETWORK takes it.

The Queen did win Screenplay here.

Re: Predict the Golden Globe Winners!
I remember reading much more praise for The Queen's screenplay than for The King's Speeches. It would have won way more awards that year if it weren't for the so-beloved typical indie comedy screenplay of Little Miss Sunshine.
