Of course, with the rash of disqualifications, they were both nominated by default.

Well with eight potential nominees disqualified, it's no surprise that the line-up looks so weird.


It#s bad for Invictus, though...not having made it. And a big hit for The Messenger.

These nominations are WTF? The Hangover and Avatar for Original Screenplay? Star Trek for Adapted screenplay?? Even with others out I guess these should not have been nominated.

I am a proud Avatanic but I know what are the limits for being that. I love Hangover but it is no where near to original in terms of screenplay. Star Trek nope whatever anyone says I can't accept it as well
