It is nominated for:
Best Costume Design
Benjamin Button
Australia
Milk
Revolutionary Road
The Duchess
Best Art Direction
Benjamin Button
Revolutionary Road
Changeling
Duchess
The Dark Knight
I think The Duchess should be considered a slight frontrunner for Costume because in the past they tend to go for the obvious period piece over the BP nominee. Also, the protagonist's only avenue of self-expression is through her costumes.
For Art Direction, there was a lot of background paintings and fancy architechure, however voters may not feel The Duchess is a deserving double Oscar winner so may throw a bone to Benjamin Button instead.
So I think 1/2, although 2/2 wouldn't surprise me even though it's costume/art direction is not that special.
