Who was this player?

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
8th place: and here we go with another tie, this time involving The Scottie and myself. We both scored 69 picks right, getting only FX 100% right.
7th place: goes to Trixster , also with 69 points, but apart fropm FX, he also got editing completely right.
And if that wasn't enough, 6th place goes to android and Alex Y., also with 69 points, but in this case with 3 perfect categories. Android got art direction, FX and animated, and Alex Y. got adapted screenplay, editing and animated right.

THE TOP 5]
The last tie is for the 5th place. Congrats to Sam and Yoshue. Both scored 70 picks right. Sam got FX 100% right and Yoshue did the same with adapted screenplay.

Now, just out of the medals, on 4th place, we can find billybobwashere, that also scored 70 points, but scores higher for perfectly picking animated and editing.

The bronze medal (3rd place) goes to Gunslinger, that also scored 70 points, but did the amazing feat of getting 4 categories 100% right. Those were Picture , adapted screenplay, editing and FX). An amazing feat, too bad that despite that other categories slowed you down. Congratulations!

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
And I lied before. Both the winner and the runner up scored the same points. So this is the last tie. Again, due to identifying more categories 100%, one of them places higher than the other. Mike, it was a great effort on your part, so great that you are the WINNER by getting 71 picks right and getting 3 categories completely right. You are now officially WOKJs best Oscar nominations predictor until next year. That leaves us with Groaning, that places a fantastic second place. So, so close with your 71 points too, it was the perfect category that robbed you of a tie on first place. I hope you also did well in the other game you were playing. Many thanks to everyone that participated and I hope to see you all again next year.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
I just noticed that I completely forgot Anton Chigurh when printing the ballots (must be my hate for everything Bardem ), but if I'm not mistaken after counting right now, he scored 65 points and would tie with Corpse.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
I tend to get lost in the shuffle on this forum. I don't know why I even bother here much anymore.
Now that this year's race has sucked, I'll go back in the shadows until something good in the movie world crops up.

Re: Predict all Oscars nominees (RESULTS)
Thanks everyone. I'm extremely shocked I did the best (well, it was a tie). I wasn't even going to do this, but then since I was participating in the other thread predicting each of the categories I figured I may as well do this too. I'm glad I did. I'll have to do it again next year.
