 Which The Dark Knight Snub was more surprising? Was it more surprising that it missed out on BP or BD?

For me it's picture, because a) since it was voted by all branches, I thought it'd have more broad support and could get nominated directorless like Moulin Rouge and b) directors disrespected Nolan in the past by snubbing him from Memento even though he had a DGA nom then too.

Re: Which The Dark Knight Snub was more surprising? Best Director. I was predicting The Reader to knock Bats out of Best Picture, but even I thought they would definitely give a nod to Nolan.
