 Stephen Daldry - 3 for 3 in Best Director noms Of the 3 feature length films by Daldry (Billy Elliott, The Hours, The Reader), he has gotten an Oscar nom for all three of them. Congratulations to him for this feat, has this ever been accomplished before in any Oscar branches? We should watch out for him next year as well for The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, which may be the type of "superhero/comic book" film the Oscars are willing to award.
