Pitt, though it would be nicer to see Jenkins get a nomination.

Brad Pitt. Riding the Ben Button wave, I don't see him not getting in... Jenkins got some early attention (and deservedly so - he was very good in The Visitor), but his chances have pretty much died out in the past few weeks.

Re: Brad Pitt or Richard Jenkins?
I think Jenkins, just like how Ryan Gosling scored a nod for an indie with Half Nelson. He's a respected character actor who a lot of AMPAS have probably worked with in some form. Plus, as praised as Benjamin Button has been in some circles, I feel like Pitt's acting really hasn't been that singled out or anything.

Pitt riding on the Benjamin Button wave of support.

Re: Brad Pitt or Richard Jenkins?
I'm predicting Jenkins over Pitt. Benjamin Button can't be nominated everywhere, and Pitt is so restrained in the role that I could see them passing over him. Granted, Jenkins gives a very subtle performance as well, but he does have one big emotional scene (and I'm betting that will be the clip they play if he is nominated), and as a long-working character actor who has worked with a lot of people, I think he has more support behind him than the precursors have indicated.
The fifth slot is definitely down to them. Rourke, Penn, and Langella are obvious locks, and while I wouldn't bet 100% on Eastwood, it's pretty likely that he will be in.

If you're going safe, go with Pitt.
I'm going with Jenkins.

Funny that Jenkins easily won the WOKJ consensus, yet loses this poll. How?

Curious Case has a certain sheen and luster about it, moreso than The Visitor that was seemingly released in 1998.
