 Primal Fear
Primal Fear Quote: Primal Fear is a 1996 American crime drama thriller film directed by Gregory Hoblit and starring Richard Gere and Edward Norton. The film tells the story of a defense attorney, Martin Vail (Gere), who defends an altar boy, Aaron Stampler (Norton), charged with the murder of a Catholic archbishop. A decent courtroom/whodoneit thriller. Richard Gere and Laura Linney did a decent group and a nice introduction of Edward Norton in a Golden Globe Winning performance (which he deserved), its the kind of movie you rent, watch it and reccommend to other people for a DECENT movie.

Yeah Edward Norton kicks a lot of ass. I actually like Andre Braugher in this, but was dissapointed by the lack of Locke. It's not terribly memorable but does have a pretty awesome, if not predictable, ending.

A decent thriller with a spectacular performance from Edward Norton (that was justifiably nominated for an Oscar) in his debut performace. The ending alone is worth the price of admission (or renting, now, I guess). B+

Totally agree. I nominated it in KJ's best movies, and it didn't get a single vote
Anyway, it's in my top 30 of all-time. Surprised no one commented about the music. It's terrific.

I laughed right through the film's big reveal. It was like someone had let laughing gas seep into the room. I couldn't control it!
