Maid in Manhattan Quote: Maid in Manhattan is a 2002 romantic comedy film directed by Wayne Wang about a hotel maid and a high profile politician who fall in love starring Jennifer Lopez, Ralph Fiennes, and Natasha Richardson. It is based on a story by John Hughes who is credited using a pseudonym. The original music score is composed by Alan Silvestri. The film was released on December 13, 2002.

On a serious note, we have better from all parties invovled, a below average romantic comedy. I believe Two Weeks Notice was out around the same time, more people should have went to see that. Also, what was Ralph Fiennes doing as the lead in a romantic comedy thats like having Denise Richards as a Nuclear Scientist or John Wayne as Genghis Khan.

Yeah, Maid In Manhattan and Two Weeks Notice came out about a week apart from one another. The funny thing is that despite the fact that they were direct competitors, they literally made the EXACT same amount at the box office (93 Million). The latter had better legs though.
As for this film, it's pretty solid for what it is - a harmless romantic comedy. I haven't seen it in a few years but I remember enjoying it.

fucking poor excuse for a romantic comedy I actually hated this movie. Like D- grade hate. This and MBFGW are the two worst romcoms ever im going to say.
