Saw it a month or two ago. Gave it 5/10 -> C-. The premise isn't very original but it manages to be interesting and very good until halfway through when it becomes a wannabe thriller and almost a slasher in the end. All that sudden mix of genres that pops up kinda kills the movie.

I can't find my original review, but I'm a big fan of time travel movies, and this was one of the best examples in the past decade. The story was both believable in a logical sense and an emotional sense. Excellent.

B. I thought the ending was too sappy but overall it was solid.

This was a surprisingly high-quality film. Underrated. B+

I love this movie, one of my favorites of all time. I loved the thriller aspect as well and while the ending is a little sappy, everything else is superb.

A+

I need to rewatch this, but from what I remember, it's a fun flick, though a bit logically flawed obviously.

Enjoyable enough genre picture, although its use of time travel/parallel universes is rather rudimentary.

I enjoyed Frequency quite a bit. What most impressed me was the seamlessness of the science fiction. It was fairly obvious with the story they told. There were no surprises throughout until Dennis Quaid returns at the end with grey hair and a shotgun. But the film was just totally original. On paper, it would sound ludicrous; a police officer contacts his dead dad via CB radio, but on film it was solid entertainment.

Technically, the film lacks, but the acting is decent. I've always like Jim Caviezel, but here he wasn't really taking command as I know he can. I've not really ever liked Dennis Quaid, and he was bearable (apart from his slightly strange 60s New Yorker accent). It was great to spot a young Michael Cera.
