It's okay, zwackerm. Nobody really expects you to develop real taste for a few more years. When I was your age I was trying to tell myself HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION wasn't as bad as people said.

You are literally the only person who does not like Jabba's palace. And if you think liking Empire better than Jedi makes your taste "real", there's really nothing to be said.

I don't like Empire as much because I've never found the Hoth battle too interesting, and the Yoda stuff goes on for too long. The Cloud City stuff is the only part I really love, but since I've known for my entire life, even before I watched the films, that Vader was Luke's father, that twist does absolutely nothing for me. I also think the film lacks an overarching story of its own; it's full of significant events, but they don't hold on their own.

Whereas I find the Jabba's palace stuff and the Death Star showdown BA. I like the Endor stuff better than the Hoth stuff.

Agreeing with a RT score doesn't make your opinion correct, it just makes it common.

Me too. And then I decided to never watch it again, so in my memory, Halloween: Resurrection is still pretty fun.

This one is pretty good. I see why some may not like it as much. For me it's about as good as the others. Nothing really bothers me too much about it.

Mmmmm kinda glad I rewatched this right before 9. To me this is a much worse movie than ANH and Empire so should be interesting to compare.

The performance in the bar is an embarrassing scene. The Ewoks at least have a thematic purpose.

Overall though, I love hanging with the old crew so much that Return of the Jedi is still an A+.

This is easily the weakest of the trilogy. The action scenes are no longer fun (even though there is a good amount of adventure in them). The ending serves really well and conclusion of the entire (6) series. The first half here is just trash and some scenes needed edits. The chemistry of the trio have now matured and they work well with each other. Its entertaining but definitely no where near the best of the trilogy (ANH takes that crown for me).

B+
