 Machete Kills
Machete Kills Quote: Machete Kills is an upcoming 2013 American exploitation action film directed, produced, co-written, cinematographied and co-edited by Robert Rodriguez. The film is the third based on Grindhouse fake trailers; the first were Machete and Hobo with a Shotgun. Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Tom Savini, Billy Blair, Electra and Elise Avellan, Felix Sabates, and Jessica Alba reprise their roles from the first film, Machete, and are joined by series newcomers Mel Gibson, Demián Bichir, Amber Heard, Sofía Vergara, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr., Vanessa Hudgens, Alexa Vega, William Sadler, Marko Zaror, and Charlie Sheen (credited as Carlos Estévez).
The film follows the titular ex-federale (Trejo) as he is recruited by the U.S. President (Sheen) to stop an arms dealer (Gibson) and a revolutionary (Bichir). The film is set to be released on October 11, 2013.

 Re: Machete Kills
Pretty bad, and not in the fun way unfortunately. The movie doesn't have the ridiculousness it needs throughout to make it worthwhile. The best parts were the beginning/end dealing with the space stuff. Too bad that probably won't happen!

 Re: Machete Kills
Mel Gibson is awesome. The rest of the movie is not.

 Re: Machete Kills
Definitely disappointing when compared to the first. It was just very flat outside of a couple standout Machete kills. Though I really want Machete Kills Again in Space to happen

Machete Kills
The most undeserving sequel ever made is, to no surprise, shit. The good; Mel Gibson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Walt Goggins and Charlie Sheen. The bad; Amber Heard and Lady Gaga (they deserve a special mention) and literally everything else. The joke of making a retro 70s B-movie has been long warn out. It seems that Robert Rodriguez will never regain his From Dusk Till Dawn and Desperado days. I suppose this film, if nothing else, has left it open for Machete Kills Again...in Space.

 Re: Machete Kills
I'm one of the few people who saw it on the big screen. I enjoyed it.

Riggs wrote: How much screentime has Gibson? You don't see him for the first 50 minutes. The film is 1 hour and 47 minutes long. Then after that, he's in it quite a bit, but in total I would say around 15-20 minutes of actual screen time. The second half of the movie is mainly all Gibson, though.

 Re: Machete Kills
Thanks. I may be just fast-forwarding to Gibson's scenes.
