
Re: Io sono l'amore [I Am Love]
I saw this a few months ago. It's a definite treat for the senses. The lush, perfectly crafted shots (loved the snowy city shots at the beginning). The ever-present, sweeping original score. And Swinton is top-notch. Learning Italian-accented Russian for a role? Wow.

Yet...the storyline hasn't resonated with me much. Not as much as I would have hoped. And there are a few parts where it became SO melodramatic, I was almost tempted to laugh.
A triumph of style over substance, but what style it is.
