Interesting idea. Basically Pinochio but with a Sci fi and adult twist. Its not bad, not great. But enjoyable. Williams was good in this.

I'm normally immune to Robin Williams Cheese but this one I couldn't resist.

Glad I'm not the only one who really likes Bicentennial Man. There's something brilliant about the idea of a robotic man who lives forever and watches the ones around them age and die while he remains the same. That concept is what Kubrick/Spielberg's AI should've gone for, the lonliness of living forever.
Granted, this film is far from perfect of course. The world's oldest man stuff was silly. I would've liked if he was still living at the end of the film too, end it with his wife dieing and him walking away. I think the concept was too big and brilliant for Columbus to really run with, but regardless it's still very enjoyable.

I hated this movie. It was incredibly dull and cheesy. A.I. was much, much better and more moving.

I have seen this movie once and that was in theaters back in 1999. All I remember is that it was boring.

Definitely. File it with Deep Impact. I really like this movie for all the wrong reasons. Embeth Davidtz stole my heart with her unremarkable performance.

It's okay. Robin Williams makes a very likeable lead in this one and the film is sweet and sad at times. The effects are mostly very good. The scene when he tries to tell jokes are great. Of course, it is cheesy and corny, but I found it overall quite enjoyable.

Not going to mention much since pretty much everything has already been said. I did find it rather boring, and too long. I don't know how long it was, but it just felt too long. It did tear me up though.
