Pretty much. There are only maybe two or three gut laughs.

One of the more disappointing tv show adaptation to the big screen since South Park. Alot of the stuff just doesnt seem to blend in too well into the movie. The charm with the show is showing the reoccuring characters and how they react to the Reno police department but the movie however didnt make use of the situations and the only reoccuring character was Terry. The only funny bits from the movie were the footage shown at the end credits which they should have used more of

Really the only moment that truly brought the tears-in-my-eyes funny was "Are we even on a street? I'm pretty sure we are in the middle of a cafe. Yeah, this is a cafe."

Reno 911! Miami
What a nice evening I had. I got to see two films in which one was bad and one was good. This was the bad one. It wasn't horrible, just bearable. I caught this at a Scion screening event and the best thing about the screening had to be the free junk and the DJ playing some wonderfully mixed music. Now, I like the tv show, but I'm not a avid fan nor do I own any of the dvds. This film is kind of like a police academy thought not as funny, but it does have some laughs. The most enjoyable scene was when they are all at the international inn the first night and we see what everyones doing that evening. The most annoying characters had to be the asst mayor and Paul Rudd as a cuban drug dealer. I think its a see it once type of film if you're into the show and or just like spending money.
Grade - D

Yeah, this is a cafe." I had a few holy shit laughs like when Raineesha was teaching Wiegel slang on the beach. And the pubes/wrist watch moment. And Terry popping up to record his cd. And pretty much anything with Dangle.
The pubes getting caught in the wrist watch just kind of made me sick to my stomach, actually.
It was definitely one of those tons of chuckles/smiles and only a handful of full out laughs movies. I forgot about the slang scene on the beach. That was hilarious.

I laughed the hardest when he knocked that mud wrestler the fuck out.
But yeah, I kinda agree with everyone else on this one. I think it would have been much funnier if I hadn't seen the trailer, soo many of the best gags were in there.

I agree with what was said, its almost Scary Movie 3 all over again, where the trailer was amazing but the film overall seemed to lack thanks to seeing the ads so much.
That being said, its good to watch for its slim 81 minute runtime. Some funny moments for sure, and some moments that just went on a little too long, but passable entertainment to watch sometime.

Terriblest film of the year..
The scene/s with the Inn and the windows and that classical score whose name I can't think of but am almost sure I know is the worst ever made. Ever...like, of the past 150 yrs.

Never been a fan of the show, but I thought this was pretty funny. Some scenes were hilarious, others just fell kinda flat. But overall, good stuff.

I found myself laughing more consistently while watching the DVD than when I saw it in theaters. Whether or not it was the Unrated cut or just the fact that it works better while watching it at home, I laughed a lot this time around unlike before. That saying, the film really struggles during the middle of the film.

It made me smile in places, but it was a bit too overdone. Meh.

I am a fan of the show and the cast in general (loved 'The State' and Viva Variety), I was basically disappointed in the movie, some funny parts but just not very good overall.

 Re: Reno 911!: Miami
It feels like an 81 minute episode. Which wouldn't be bad but it has the same amount and types of laughs as the typical episode does. There were plenty of chuckle-and-nod type laughs, with only probably three or four truly hilarious moments.
In other words, it's not that the movie wasn't funny; the movie just wasn't any funnier then the show to justify a movie.
