 Coyote Ugly
Coyote Ugly Quote: Coyote Ugly is a 2000 romantic comedy/drama based on the actual Coyote Ugly Saloon, set in New York City. The film stars Piper Perabo and Adam Garcia. It was directed by David McNally, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman and written by Gina Wendkos. I...liked it.

Well, this movie kind of sucked.
Everything about it, except for maybe Maria Bello's performance, was just mediocre.

That LeAnne Rimes song has some surprising longevity. I still hear it all the time and it drives me nuts.

Wh0rey. Don't remember it much, the song is semi good, otherwise the movie is just average though, weak storyline.

Great guilty pleasure entertainment. Absolutely hollow, yet lots of fun to watch. Piper Perabo should have become a bigger star by now than she actually is. The soundtrack is really good too.

Yeah, whatever happened to Perabo's career? Since Coyote Ugly, which was supposed to be the role that made her a star, she has appeared in two lesbian romances (Lost & Delirious, Imagine Me & You), three films so awful they either debuted on cable or went direct-to-video (Slap Her, She's French aka She Gets What She Wants, The I Inside, and Edison), Cheaper by the Dozen 1 and 2, a horror film (The Cave), among other smaller films I've never even heard of.
Up next she has a small part in Christopher Nolan's The Prestige, a small part in a Mandy Moore/Diane Keaton comedy, and a horror film about a virus running rampant. Doesn't seem like she'll ever become a star.

Actually I found Slap Her, She's French to be fun. Not that anyone else saw it...

She was also in Perception, which was released this year, and this year she was also in Edison Force and 10th & Wolf! And don't know Lost & Delirious for being a lesbian flick, it's amazing .
