FernGully: The Last Rainforest
FernGully: The Last RainforestQuote: FernGully: The Last Rainforest is a 1992 Australian-American animated film directed by Bill Kroyer, produced by Peter Faiman and Wayne Young, and written by Jim Cox based on a book of the same name by Diana Young. It is a film with a strong environmental theme. The film features the voice talents of Jonathan Ward as Zak, Samantha Mathis as Crysta, Tim Curry as Hexxus, Robin Williams as Batty Koda, and Christian Slater as Pips.
The film was released in the United States on April 10, 1992 and in Australia on September 17, 1992, and received mixed to positive reviews. In 1998, the film was followed by the direct-to-video sequel, FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue. I liked it when I was eight.

Lol, I loved this movie soo much when I was young. Now it's just good, and it's better than all the non-Pixar animated stuff. Robin Williams was perfect in this movie. "I have but one claw, but beware!!" The song "A Dream Worth Keeping" by Sheena Easton is really good.

Not to be confused with FurnGully: The Last Orgasim. Unfortunately, such a movie exists.
I know I saw this movie. But, honestly I don't remember a thing about it except the title and cover.
Therefore, no grade from me. But, I did see it.

One of my childhood...., hell, I hate using that phrase. It's simply one of my favorite films, animated or not.

Eh. This movie isn't very good. It's obviously one of the earliest attempts to emulate the Disney formula, but Anastasia and The Prince of Egypt did it much better. It's a pretty generic "save the trees" movie. The characters are rather dull aside from the villain, who is awesome. He also has the only good song in the film. Gosh these are some atrocious musical numbers. But yeah, this does not hold up.
