Is there a thread on how bad that poster is? I mean... wow. It's so fake-looking, and creepy.
I'm really disappointed they took such a gold concept and seemingly dumped on it. Some ideas should be protected by people who want to make crappy Dane Cook, etc. movies. Bler.

And their expressions, ack.

C+, not as bad as expected. A lot of female nudity, including a very brief side view of Alba's breasts. Not sure if it's a body double though since you can see nipple. Besides the nudity, there aren't many other reasons to catch this film.

Re: Good Luck Chuck
It wasn't that bad. I chuckled a few times and found the two stars likable and appealing. But it was incredibly disjointed, unable to decide if it was a sweet romantic comedy or a gross-out raunchfest. It also features the worst performance of the year so far in the form of Dan Folger. But, as I said, it's basically harmless and worth a rental.

Re: Good Luck Chuck
This could have been a pretty decent movie. Unfortunately for the person viewing the movie, it's not. There are some moments that are nice, like most of the middle when Dean Cook is dating Jessica Alba's character. Everything that happens outside of that is usually completely idiotic and borderline offensive. The scene with the obese white woman was particularly disgusting to watch. Dean Cook was decent, though unspectacular. I don't know why though but I find him really hot. So at least that was nice eye candy. Jessica Alba on the other hand was just awful and must have knew how stupid the movie would turn out to be. Even though it wasn't anything great (or even really that good), it was still entertaining and I was never bored. So I'll be a bit lenient with my grade. 5/10 ( C )

Re: Good Luck Chuck
It had its moments, but overall, kinda weak. The clip during the credits is probably better than the entire film, I think. Not a bad movie overall, though.

Re: Good Luck Chuck
I thought it was funny, better than some other crappy comedies this year. It was passable and definitely more of a college crowd film.
It definitely had a chance to be something very interesting though. The scene with his secretary was actually pretty good with a good part of hear and for a second I thought perhaps the film would rise above it, but it just went back to jokes and many cliches.
But I did laugh a lot, and was grossed out by a few things. Id give it a C+/B-
Definitely for the 18-23 demographic

Good Luck Chuck
Well, it's a generic US shock-humour, rom-com. Everything ends exactly how it was supposed to (with airport chase ending and romantic find-the-girl kiss). It's humorous at times and the story is stupid as expected, but it never goes beyond into the area of clever humour. Alba is hot as fuck.
