A Christmas Story

Quote:
A Christmas Story is a 1983 American Christmas comedy film based on the short stories and semi-fictional anecdotes of author and raconteur Jean Shepherd, including material from his books In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash, and Wanda Hickey's Night of Golden Memories. It was directed by Bob Clark. The film has since become a holiday classic and is known to be shown numerous times on television during the Christmas season, usually in a 24-hour marathon.

A childhood favorite of mine. Just an all-around great movie.

Lecter's excused, but you haven't seen it, Shack?!

I saw it in school when I was in 4th grade.

A holiday staple for me. It's kind of sad that the actor who played Flick ended up growing ugly and venturing into pornography.

Man, is it just me that thinks the redhead bully looks 100% like a young version of American Pie's Sherman? If this movie was made in say around 1993, I'd be convinced it was him.

Hands down the best Christmas film ever made. It's so entertaining, and I grew up watching this. It is a tradition in our family to watch this film at least a few times when Christmas is near. I just love it so much. All the characters are awesome, and the story is really interesting. I watched it about 6 times this weekend. It just never gets repetitive to me.

A

It's Christmas Eve! Which means A Christmas Story will be beginning its annual 24-hour marathon in approximately three and a half hours.

Looooooooooooove it

Do they still run this for 24 hours?

Anyway, I watched it this year for the first time in about five years. For some reason, I remembered liking it but not loving it. No idea why because it's easily one of the best Christmas movies ever.
